*Description:* A family in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a warm and dependable nanny for their 4.
5-year-old and 16-month-old children.
While the 4.
5-year-old attends school full-time, occasional care is required.
The ideal nanny should be nurturing, communicative, and trustworthy, fostering language development through activities like reading, talking, and creative play.
Open communication and a proactive problem-solving approach are key qualities sought by the family.
*Responsibilities:* Play-based learning focused on fine and gross motor skills development, along with plenty of talking and singing to promote language skills.
Other duties include transportnion, diapering, assisting with potty training, light meal preparation, and cleanup, as well as following a nap time routine.
The nanny will also provide care for both children when school is not in session or sick at home.
Additionally, light cleanup of toys and dishes used during the day, and managing the children’s laundry, would be appreciated if time allows.
Every other week: assisting with breakfast, dressing, and school drop-off for the 4-year-old, as well as evening pickup from aftercare.
*Start Date:* April 18th (Flexible)
*Hours:* Week 1: Monday (7a-5:30p), Tuesday through Friday (8a-1:30p).
If desired, more hours are available for housekeeping/household management.
