Job Summary:
The Health Center Bistro Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of bistro operations, including service standards, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
This role requires a hospitality-minded individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents and guests.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the HC Bistro, including opening and closing procedures, staffing assignments, and service standards.
Train, mentor, and coach bistro staff to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect among bistro staff.
Oversee food and beverage reparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bistro area, including dining tables, countertops, service stations, and storage areas.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and proactively, striving to exceed expectations and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with the dining services management to develop and update menus, specials, and promotions to meet resident preferences and dietary needs.
Assist in planning and coordinating special events, themed nights, and entertainment activities in the bistro to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:
Required cook experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in food service
1+ years in a leadership role
Physical Requirements:
Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
Is involved with personnel, residents, families, and other visitors under all conditions and circumstances.
Is subject to anxious and emotionally upset residents and families.
May work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, temporarily in staff emergencies, and to ensure proper care for all residents.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
