Position Title Administrative Support Department Enrollment Management Appointment Full Time – 40 hours per week (12- month position) Pay Rate $13.
25 per hour CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide reception and administrative support to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions; provide telephone reception for 800 and local lines; update and maintain undergraduate admission student information database; receive phone communications from prospective students, parents and high school counselors; receive and maintain campus visit reservations for on and off campus programs; track and report geographic and curriculum statistics; assist in supervision of student employees; maintain prospective students’ information database; prepare program correspondence, confirmation and thank you letters; create and run reports; perform other job-related duties as assigned.
This position is required to work some Saturdays each fall and spring semester.
The exact number of Saturdays required will depend on scheduling needs for that particular semester.
In order to meet the needs of the University, the University retains the right to assign duties and requirements to employees as well as determine and change starting times, quitting times and shifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Two to three years office/business experience that demonstrates: ability to work independently and contribute to a positive team spirit; proficiency in word processing, data entry, spreadsheet and database management programs; create and run reports; compose correspondence; ability to exhibit sound/accurate judgment; perform detailed job tasks with accuracy; editing and proofreading skills; ability to work with sensitive information and records; work/interact with diverse groups of people; show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, effectively communicate in person, via email and telephone with students, parents, University personnel and external constituents; ability to deal with periodic timetable changes; coordinate/manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and on deadline.

MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work is performed in a normal office environment with little exposure to outdoor temperatures or dirt and dust.
Working conditions are typically moderately quiet.
