This unique position offers a competitive base salary of $30,000 annually, plus bonuses for new residents move-ins.
Total Compensation Should land Between $36,000 and $40,000.
About Us:
The Patrician Home is an Independent Living Non- Medical senior living community committed to providing exceptional care, safety, and support for our residents.
As a House Mom/Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for elderly individuals.
Position Overview:
In addition to the attractive salary + Bonuses, this position involves managing the day-to-day operations of our 16-bed residential care home.
You will be responsible for coordinating vendors, staff, overseeing budgets, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
As an integral part of our team, you will also take on the responsibility of cooking three meals a day for the Residence and handling the cleaning duties within the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage other staff, conduct performance reviews, and assess effectiveness
- Collaborate with 3rd Party Home Health and other like senior support agencies to help residents, responsible parties, and staff to address individualized care needs.
- Advocate for residents to ensure the highest standard of safety and care is ensured
- Establish and enforce policies, house rules, and procedures
- Provide regular safety training and drills to comply with VA and Care Home policies for all.
- Cook three meals a day for the Residence.
-Grocery Shop For Needed Items within our food cost budget
- Handle cleaning duties within the home
- Proactively fill vacant beds through sales outreach to local hospitals, social workers, other senior living facilities, and industry professionals (+ Bonuses on Successful Move-Ins!)
- Attend community events to network and promote the Care Home
- Conduct tours for prospective residents and families, showcasing the facilities and services
- Collaborate with marketing efforts to enhance the visibility of Care Home in the community
- Assist in organizing and participating in events to engage with the local community
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $30,000 a year + Bonuses on Successful Move-Ins!
- Additional Value: Free Room and Board worth $25,000 a year (if needed for the right applicant)
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess: (Will Provide Ongoing Training Resources)
- Strong people and communication skills
- Good observational skills
-Must be able to help, organize, and lead community activities, meals, and events monthly
- Experience in assessing care and support needs
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a Strong ability to connect with seniors and provide companionship at times
Working Conditions:
This role involves managing different types of accommodation and offering a variety of services within a home.
While typical working hours are around 35 to 40 hours a week, flexibility may be required, including occasional weekends.
The House Mom/Manager is expected to be on call 24/7 in case an emergency arises.
Physical labor, including lifting items up to 35 pounds and using cleaning equipment, may be required.
Education and Training:
A Caregiver's Background and High School Grad is required, but some experience or a formal qualification in health services is a plus to work as a Care Home House Manager.
