Liberty Village of Pekin is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for our beautiful retirement community.

*Food Service Supervisor Responsibilities:*
1.
Implement and monitor facility Policies and Procedures.
2.
Assure that the facility is in compliance with County, State, and Federal regulations.
3.
Implement 4 week seasonal menus for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.
4.
Ensure that all meals are nutritious, palatable and satisfying by overseeing the preparation and serving of all meals and snacks.
5.
Ensure that staff is following menus, spreadsheets, standardized recipes, mechanically altered diets and menu preference sheets.
6.
Ensure that all residents are served the diet as prescribed by MD.
7.
Organize and maintain current diet order slips in diet order box.
8.
Complete residents Nutritional History Questionnaires, Nutritional Observations, MDS supporting materials and other nutrition documents in a timely manner.
9.
Maintain necessary Food Service records for 6 months.

: Menus, Spreadsheets, Recipes, all Kitchen Logs and all Food Supplier invoices.
10.
Inventory and order all food and supplies while staying within assigned budget.
11.
Responsible for participating in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, OJT and in-service training, evaluating and terminating of all Dining Services staff.
12.
Provide excellent customer service to all residents, staff and visitors.
13.
Maintain a professional attitude by showing respect and being a positive productive member of the Dining Services team.
14.
Perform other specific job duties as assigned by the Facility Administrator.
*Food Service Supervisor Qualifications:*
Education
Requirement*:* High school Diploma or equivalent.
Education
Preferred: ANFP approved Dietary Manager course completion
Experience:
Preferred:At least 3-5 years of full-time supervisory employment in a health care setting.
Requirement: Food Protection Manager Certificate
CDM, CFPP Certificate or willing to take the CDM, CFPP exam within 6 months of hire.
