Obed & Isaac's is seeking an experienced on-site event coordinator.
Candidates must possess the skills to develop effective working relationships, have an ability to work independently and as a team member of Obed & Isaac’s/ Conn’s Hospitality Group, and have a strong willingness to help out as needed at every level of operation, strive daily to accomplish company goals by accepting ownership, addressing challenges head-on, and always looking for new opportunities to add value to the guest experience.
*The role will be a 80/20 split focusing mainly on the private events and community partnerships, but experience in the restaurant industry is required as a portion of the role will also be assisting in the management of the restaurant.

Primary Responsibilities
* Manage and respond to all inquiries on a daily basis, quickly and professionally.
* Manage event calendar and effective coordination of private and company events, maximize space usage and revenues through food and beverage sales.
* Establish new, and maintain, working relationship with potential, and current, customers.
Keeping track of guest information via CRM.
* Seek out corporate, convention, social leads to extend Obed & Isaac’s brand in the local community.
* Ability to multi-task and be highly organized and focused so events run smoothly and all deadlines are met.
* Work closely with the General Manager and executive management team to drive sales to Obed & Isaac’s, including attendance at weekly meetings.
* Communicate and execute event timelines to ensure deadlines are met with guest, management and kitchen staff.
* Produce an outline of the event’s needs, called a BEO (Banquet Event Orders), with event timeline, menu, and layout, ensure execution of specifications.
* Manage individual event payment schedules from deposits to final payment.
* Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring and evaluating food, beverage, and service offering, conduct post-event follow-up to ensure guest’s satisfaction, initiating improvements.
* Be onsite to manage on-site visits, property tours, and booked events
* Actively attend and seek out events in the local community.
Requirements
* Must represent Conn’s Hospitality Group Vision and Values
* Have experience working in a high volume restaurant
* Minimum 2 years experience event planning
* Committed to providing exceptional guest service
* Enjoy working with people
* Professional interpersonal and communication skill; writing and speaking.
* Comfortable working with computers and Microsoft Office
* Excellent problem solving skills.
Competitive wages will be determined by experience and expertise.
