Team Lead, Warehouse

The Team Lead position is responsible training, monitoring employee s performance and adherence to policy.
While working alongside the Warehouse staff, the Team Lead tracks, coordinates and expedites materials through the Warehouse.
Primary Duties: Provides training and development opportunities to employees.
Assigns scheduled tasks and manage workflow for the shift.
Manages metrics and productivity data for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Independently manages full shift operations in the absence of a Supervisor.
Acts as the primary point of contact for the packaging team to resolve system issues.
Operates a sit down and stand up forklift.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of three years experience in Manufacturing/Distribution/3PL environment.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Word (including: Email, Excel, and Routine Database Activity etc.
).
Previous experience operating a sit down and stand up forklift.
Will complete forklift training upon hire.
Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Location: 403 Carver Lane, East Peoria IL Shift & Hours: 1st Shift | 7 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Range: $16 - $18/ hour
