Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool Manager to oversee the operations of our pool facility.
The Pool Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests, managing staff, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Manage daily operations of the pool facility, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise lifeguards and other staff members to ensure proper coverage and adherence to safety protocols
- Develop and implement training programs for lifeguards and staff
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate pool events, such as swim meets or pool parties, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as water testing, cleaning, and equipment inspections
- Prepare reports on pool usage, revenue, and expenses
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a pool or aquatic facility setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, staff members, and vendors
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping
- Familiarity with guest services principles to provide exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- Events management experience
