Pursuit Aerospace Morton is a contract manufacturer of high precision CNC machined aerospace, and power generation parts.
Our primary business centers around large turbine components for the jet engine industry.
Located in Morton, Illinois we have been in business for 45 years and offer a state of the art, safe, clean, and air-conditioned facility to work in.
We are currently expanding and need to add to our talented and dedicated workforce.
Responsibilities:
The job requires 2 years of technical training.
With readily available technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair.
Examines machines to troubleshoot and diagnose, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines, makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation and welding.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines/equipment.
Will be doing mechanical/electrical trouble shooting of vertical/ horizontal lathes.
Must be able to communicate effectively to the team and have great leadership skills.
Experience with Mori-Seiki / Mazak / Okuma/ Hwacheon / Mitsubishi/ Fanuc / Siemens / O-M machines/ controls.
Qualifications
• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Knowledge of CNC and PLCs required
• Experience working with hand tools, welding equipment, grease gun, multi-meter, ladders.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Possesses a high mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a drug screening

Hours for this position are 6am -4pm M-F unless otherwise directed by your direct supervisor.
Any other additional OT will need to be approved per your supervisor.
Pay rate determined by experience.
