Job Title:Clinical Supervisor

SUMMARY Ensures that therapeutic interventions are provided to children and families in a caring, competent, and responsible way by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently exemplifies Camelot Customer Service Standards and Mission, Vision, and Values.
In conjunction with the Clinical Director, interfaces and liaisons with the Psychiatrist on a regular basis, maintains relationships, and monitors documentation within the agency.
Assures the maintenance of up-to-date clinical documentation including treatment and medication consents for assigned locations.
Provides direct counseling services and maintains assigned caseload.
Assures the clinical quality of the therapeutic program as required by all applicable standards and policies; seeks out and analyzes problem areas in order to improve quality of care.
Provides clinical supervision to assigned clinical staff for a minimum of 60 minutes per month.
Participates in therapeutic interventions, court hearings, and school and community meetings as required for the program.
Participates in regular chart audit reviews in accordance with the Continuous Quality Improvement Plan.
Ensures that each assigned client has an appropriate diagnosis and an accurate assessment and current treatment/service plan.
All plans are to meet Camelot Policy, State licensing regulatory, funding sources and accreditation requirements and be completed within the appropriate time frame.
Participates in other supervisory and administrative functions as directed by the Clinical Director.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages assigned clinical staff directly.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned staff.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities and documentation in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Master’s degree in an approved Human Service discipline and in accordance with the applicable State Standards (i.
e.
Child, Family and Community Services; Guidance and Counseling; Human Development Counseling; Counseling; psychology; social work; counseling psychology; mental health; community counseling; clinical psychology; marriage and family therapy; marriage and family counseling; Divinity/Pastoral Care/Pastoral Counseling) areas from an approved college or university AND Obtain LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within 6 months of hire.
1 year of direct experience providing services to children/adolescents and families in a therapeutic treatment environment AND Compliance with State or contractual requirements.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 2 years’ experience in child and adolescent counseling services.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid State Driver’s License (In good standing).
If moving to Illinois after position is accepted, must obtain an Illinois Driver’s License within 30 days from Date of Hire.
CPR & First Aid Certification within 30 days from date of hire Appropriate automobile insurance (at least state minimum) QUALIFICATIONS LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Current physical and TB (PPD) test within 30 days of employment.
