Lube Technician

*Job description* *Lubrication Technician* *Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm* *Job Scope:* * Lubrication Technician *to Perform Daily Oil Route:* Check oil levels on tanks throughout plant and add oil where necessary.
* Lubrication Technician *to Perform Machine Sump Pump Outs:* Pump out machine sumps following the designated pump out schedule.
* Lubrication Technician *to Make Large Oil Additions:* Operate forklift to make bulk additions of oil.
* Lubrication Technician *to do Data Entry:* Record data from the oil route, pump outs, and enter them into the spreadsheet daily/weekly.
* Lubrication Technician *to Perform Basic Vehicle Maintenance:* Check the oil and gas levels in the pump truck, make install coolant hoses (cutting, clamping, leak checking, etc).
Vehicle maintenance includes cleaning the vacuum pump truck, forklift, and carts.
* *Oil Storage Upkeep:* Organize and maintain the oil storage area using 5S principles.
Check for spills and mop the floors as needed.
* *Maintain a Safe Environment:* Wear proper PPE as required.
Understand the hazards of each task and follow safe job procedures.
* *All tasks will be assigned and directed by the team lead.
