Our team members choose to be part of the MMS team and stay with us throughout their careers! Overview of Position: As a Maintenance Specialist at MMS, you’ll repair malfunctioning manufacturing machine tools and work to ensure machines run at peak performance.
This is a highly skilled, non-supervisory position designed for those who have experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.

Starting wage range is $30-45 per hour.
Starting wage offer will be based on candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities Requirements: Desired Qualifications: To be seriously considered for this role, the successful candidate should have the following regarding: Experience: 5 years or more maintenance experience in the service field Education: High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly encouraged Skills: Successful candidates have advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills including experience working on CNC equipment and PLCs.
and experience working on electrical circuits with voltages ranging from 480V 3 Phase to 5V DC.
You should have the ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical prints or schematics; use test equipment such as multi-meter, dial indicators, meg-ohm meter, machine level, precision square, and ball bar analyzer; diagnose and troubleshoot problems; analyze information and to make an informed decision based on that information; identify root causes and corrective actions; adhere to all safety regulations and policies; and actively participate in job training opportunities for career development.
Characteristics: This position is supervised; however, the successful candidate should be customer focused, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently.
Other requirements: Must have a valid state driver’s license, vehicle insurance and dependable vehicle.

Responsibilities: Under supervision performs advanced level maintenance activities.
This includes but is not limited to: Respond to customer needs including, troubleshoot equipment, and identify parts and equipment to complete repairs Repair production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, troubleshooting Complete projects such as mechanical and electrical upgrades Diagnose and repair worn or damaged ball screws, bearing, linear guiderails, rollerpacks, gears, and bearings in a gearbox Check and correct out of square issues affecting machine geometries, skew, lost motion, machine level Navigate or learn to navigate various machine controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, Haas, Mitsubishi, Mazatroll Work on CNC Machines such as Toyoda, Heller, Mori-Seiki, Mazak, Okuma Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards Provide inputs in CI activities-processes, results, and cost savings Physical Demands and Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision.
The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud.
In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
