Headquartered in Ontario, California, Yinlun TDI, LLC maintains sales and engineering facilities in Michigan, Illinois, and North Carolina.
With the supports from our parent company, we are poised to attain significant growth in conventional heat exchangers, in Hybrid, EV and autonomous driving sectors.
YINLUN TDI LLC is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 certified company manufacturing heat exchanger and fluid cooling components for the automotive, heavy truck, bus and military markets.
In addition, we have several joint venture manufacturing operations overseas in China.
We are currently recruiting for a position at our Morton, IL location for a qualified Production Manager.
Job Title: Production Manager Reports To: Plant Manager Location: Morton, IL Shift: First Shift FLSA Classification: Exempt Summary The Production Manager is accountable for accomplishing all plant objectives in the areas of manufacturing, production, safety, quality, customer service, employee relations, and cost through efficient and effective operations of the production group.
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and will be the frontline day to day leader in the plant.
Therefore, the successful candidate will have a combination of previous hands-on and leadership roles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
Directs and coordinates activities of department for accurate and on time delivery of product related to all business activities.
Implement and maintain planning schedules and staffing.
Direct warehouse organization, order processing, quality assurance, and all shipping and receiving functions.
Develops and implements safety program to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions.
Work with vendors to ensure that monthly production capacity is utilized and recommend appropriate action when necessary.
Promotes productivity and teamwork in Operations with open communication, timely decision making, and use of personal leadership skills to set high standards of performance while providing the direction necessary to achieve that performance Assists in the hiring and training of new staff and the development of Supervisors and Production Support Specialists.
Initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Work with engineers and production on all new product implementation, existing product improvements, and any production issues.
Responsible for all plant equipment Actively supports and emphasizes importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures regulatory compliance Monitors plant and unit performance, conducts root cause analysis, and leads investigations to develop corrective actions Prioritizes maintenance direction for optimal plant availability or Prioritizes maintenance availability for optimal plant operation Act as the LEAN leader having full responsibility for the acceptance of, and day over day compliance of operational performance within the Production System.
Make a critical impact as you work with plant operations and manufacturing leaders and team members, drive continuous improvements and meet and exceed quality, cost and other goals.
Leverage your strong training and mentorship skills to manage and develop teams while also driving process improvements and serving as a change manager where needed.

Ensuring the assembly of quality products at or below budgeted production costs to meet marketplace demand.
Developing departmental plans and priorities.
Leveraging your Lean Six Sigma and analytical skills to identify gaps and implement process improvements.
Supporting managers and supervisors with the organization.
Manage human and material resources to meet production targets and KPI's.
Ensures shop floor organization, production, safety, and department 5's.
Proactively and regularly develops and manages team member's performance and capabilities, based upon company KPI's.
Provides leadership and training to accomplish plant/company goals and objectives.
Able to fulfill the responsibilities of the Plant Manager position in their absence Qualifications: 7+ years working experience in Manufacturing environment (preferably Automotive).
3-5+ years Manufacturing Supervisory Experience (preferably automotive).
Must have good understanding of manufacturing procedures and practices.
Experience with lean manufacturing Process and detail oriented Understanding of labor budgets, KPI's, and efficiency reporting Excellent communication skills with ability to coach and mentor Proven ability to work independently, managing large, complex projects or teams across a distributed organization.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate through an ambiguous environment; enjoy challenges.
Ability to deliver results through influence without authority.
Highly organized, with good time management skills and acute attention to detail.
Six Sigma experience preferred Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) in engineering, manufacturing, or related field of study or equivalent from a four-year college or university; or four to six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities This role will have supervisory responsibilities.
