*Role Summary:*
This role provides detailed manufacturing instructions that instruct our production team on the manufacturing of specific products.
This is primarily a communication role that utilizes CAD and ERP software to convey how to manufacture a product into a production environment.
Extreme attention to detail and good understanding of production processes as well as product design intent are important qualities for this role.
*Objectives*:
- Gather the purpose and design intent behind Rheo Flexibles products from
Design Engineers
- Build expertise on the production process and equipment systems used to
produce the products
- Develop efficient methods for producing Rheo Flexibles products
- Ensure accurate import of Bills of Material for products into ERP software
- Specify methods and instructions for product assembly within the ERP software
- Create routing sheets and build instructions for production team members
- Develop and write in process quality control checklists to ensure quality control
at critical milestones throughout the manufacturing process
- Address urgent manufacturing issues that arise during production
- Identify opportunities for improvement to optimize efficiency
- Support improvement efforts to respond to identified opportunities for
improvement
- Develop & maintain standard operating procedures for manufacturing
engineering processes.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
_*Education*_:
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or a related
field/area
_*Software*_:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Teams)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
- Proficiency in ERP software (Epicor Kinetic preferred)
_*Experience*_:
- 2+ years of experience in as a Manufacturing Engineer
- 2+ years of 3D CAD software experience

*Working Conditions*:
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to engage in the following physical activities: bend/stoop, climb
stairs/ladders, squat, kneel, push/pull, lift, and use vibratory and other basic
tools.
- Expected to work the standard workday of 8 hours.
- Expected to work overtime upon supervisor request.
