Skilled Laborer/Painter Job responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors Safely operate a forklift Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.

, golf carts or Gators) Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder (e.
g.
, scissor lift, articulating lift) Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties (e.
g.
, light-duty construction, fabrication, recycling, painting, filter changes, fabrication machinery support, and coolant services) Maintain preventive maintenance program for designated list of equipment (e.
g.
, powered vehicles, power tools, hand-held tools/equipment Perform minor repairs to designated equipment to minimize downtime and repair costs Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols Complete other duties as assigned Painting Job requirements: Skills and Abilities Must be 18 years or older Must have reliable transportation Ability to work efficiently and effectively Comfortable working in a dynamic environment Possesses good verbal and written communication skills Strong detail orientation Customer-oriented and friendly Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Some experience with performing administrative tasks is required Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods of time Repeat the same movements Frequent bending and twisting Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Vonachen Group is a full-service facility maintenance leader providing janitorial, healthcare, material handling, and logistics support services.

A Skilled Utility team member is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks.
This person is also responsible for preventative maintenance and minor repairs on designated tools and equipment.
A Skilled Utility team member must have mechanical aptitude, experience with handheld power tools and motorized equipment, and be able to identify equipment that is not working properly.
This person is responsible for providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment.
