Join ARi to contribute to a global influence that knows no bounds! Job Description We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by analyzing product and manufacturing methods.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing systems, procedures, and techniques.
The ideal candidate should have outstanding knowledge and understanding various processes involved in large castings facility and testing and at least 5-7 years of experience is required.
A bachelor's degree in manufacturing, material science or mechanical engineering is required.
Responsibilities Develop and improve manufacturing processes by analyzing product and manufacturing methods.
Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions, process flow diagrams, FMEAs, control plans, etc.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Provide technical support to production teams to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
Provide manufacturing support to casting facility/testing.
Worked and created standard work for casting manufacturing process.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Provide engineering support in maintaining and upgrading metallurgical testing capabilities.
Provide metallurgical expertise and mentor all levels of staff as needed.
Fundamental knowledge of process-structure-property relationships in castings.
Develop and document processes related to metallurgical and chemical testing of iron castings.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, material science or mechanical engineering required.
At least 5-7 years of experience is required.
Required Skills: Knowledge on metallurgical processes and testing, FMEA, Experience with Power BI and Six sigma is beneficial.
