Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar.

What You Will Do: The Program Specialist will operate as the Cat Parts Regulatory Compliance Lead for Production Regulatory Emissions and Product Regulatory Non-Emissions projects and matters to ensure all Cat Parts shipments are shipped fully compliant with global regulations.
Lead projects and represent Aftermarket Parts Distribution on Emissions and Non-Emissions projects.
Collaborate with many business units to understand global emissions requirements and any restrictions and determine impact to Cat Parts – includes other regulatory compliance teams, product groups, legal, and Aftermarket Parts Distribution business teams.
Analyze and determine application of regulatory changes to the Aftermarket Parts Distribution global network.
Create, implement, and monitor processes (existing and new) as a delegated Process Owner as well as accurately create and maintain associated Program and Process Documentation.
Execute process compliance reviews/approvals related to Dealer orders and provide regulatory guidance.
Participate in audits, both internal and external.
Primary contact point for emissions and non-emissions related questions.
Maintain own knowledge; stay up-to-date with relevant regulations; attend relevant training (internal and external) as appropriate.
Develop and deliver training on various compliance matters and processes to global Cat Parts teams.
Coach and lead co-workers and other employees within Cat Parts.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications): Knowledge and Technical Skills: Bachelor’s degree.
6 (plus) years of progressively responsible job-related experience.
Previous project management experience.

What You Have (Preferred Qualifications): Knowledge and Technical Skills: Master’s degree or higher.
Existing understanding of Product Regulatory Emissions.
Existing understanding of Product Regulatory Non-Emissions.
Work Planning, including associated tools like Microsoft Project.
Intermediate use in Microsoft Visio.
Understanding of the following systems: ANTARES Power BI Cat Parts Audit Trail TMI CDM PRWB SPM/EWM Proficient in Office 360 Suite; MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Team.
High-level understanding of product lines, especially engines.
Understanding of Cat Parts business model.
Review blueprints and BOM’s.
Soft Skills: Good understanding of the Caterpillar enterprise organizations and key contacts.
Organization.
Initiative to work with little supervision.
Work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Customer focus.
