Material Handler - Mossville, IL

Principal Duties/Responsibilities: · Follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved; moves material in warehouse and other areas as needed; loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand; performs basic warehouse work and mail handling; packages and loads materials; counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled.
· Records material moves in computer system; Performs shipping data entry into computer system; performs basic tracking and reporting related to job duties.
· Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers; installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
· Unpackages parts for receiving and performs login/receiving data entry in the system.
· Keeps area clean and organized.
· Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
· Manages and organizes storage areas as needed.
