A 46-year old power systems integration expert is URGENTLY hiring a *Production Lead/Manufacturing Engineer* for our facility in East Peoria, IL.
Schedule is M-TH 6am-430pm.
Fridays and Saturdays are mandatory if the shop is open.

*_ _*Production Lead/Manufacturing Engineer Job Description*__: _ This position requires a self-motivated "hands on" engineer with the ability to identify and solve practical manufacturing process problems on the shop floor.
Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills and will be required to work closely with the manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to provide technical support & problem solving of assembly & test issues on the manufacturing floor.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, with a desire to "roll up their sleeves" to help the team get the job done.
In this role you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing & optimizing existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using lean manufacturing methods.
You will be required to interpret engineering drawing packages and sales write-ups to assemble and test products in accordance with customer and quality requirements including UL.
You will assist the directing manager to plan necessary manpower and equipment to complete production and testing functions efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with production schedules.
